Check-In

What´s a Check-In?​

To link personal data of the tested person with the actual test the person at the testing facility has to perform a Check-In.

This works in two steps (simplified):

  1. Scan the appointment confirmation of the customer
  2. Stick a QR-code label onto the test kit and scan it.

Now the person is linked with the QR-code label. In the following process of the test nobody has to ever know the personal data again. They just interact with a test.

For API integrators​

As integrator of our APIs you probably never have to deal with a Check-In in any way. This is done by the people on the test front (the guys wearing the protective suits 👩‍🚀).

However, it might happen that somebody forgot to actually perform the Check-In and just sticks the QR-code label onto the test (and e.g. sends it to a laboratory). In such cases you should know how to contact those people and kindly ask them to catch up on that quickly.
